Kendra focuses her practice on the defense of asbestos and toxic tort claims, including the defense of products and premises liability claims arising from occupational and environmental exposures. Kendra has experience defending companies of all sizes in the fields of construction, manufacturing, engineering, distribution, transportation and aviation. She assists with managing a heavy volume of cases covering multiple high risk jurisdictions which involves preparing and answering written discovery, preparing significant pleadings and motions, defending the firm’s clients at depositions and deposing opposing parties and experts. Kendra also devotes a portion of her practice to assisting with agricultural arbitration matters, including disputes before the National Grain and Feed Association. As a member of the firm's Estate, Wealth and Succession Planning group, Kendra is able to assist individuals with estate planning and probate matters.

A native of Steeleville, Illinois, Kendra worked as a legal secretary and paralegal before attending law school where she served as a Taylor Mattis Fellow and was a member of her school's Moot Court Board. Kendra began her career at Heyl Royster in the summer of 2010 as a summer associate in the Edwardsville office. Following graduation, Kendra joined the firm's Edwardsville office as an associate in 2011. Kendra enjoys spending her free time volunteering for animal rescue organizations in the St. Louis area.
