Sam concentrates her practice in civil litigation, focusing on Medical Malpractice Defense, Trucking, General Tort Litigation, and Healthcare Law. She joined Heyl Royster as a Summer Associate in 2020 and returned as a Summer Associate in 2021. Upon graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2022, Sam joined the firm full-time as an Associate Attorney.

Prior to law school, Sam spent four years establishing expertise in healthcare informatics and electronic medical records while working at Cerner Corporation (now known as Oracle Cerner). This experience provides a unique qualification for advising clients in the healthcare setting and further assists her in all cases in which medical records are relevant or involved.

In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading fiction novels, and traveling.
